Alen and Jymsar's sprites need more attention
Pervader » Devlog
Recently I came to realize that Alen and Jymsar's sprites are not quite up to snuff. Simply changing their faces is not enough. Their body language needs to reflect their moods, which means they need new poses. I want to work on that, and I would like to know your thoughts about how I should spend my time carrying it out, since these sprites are going to take a while to do well.

Laying the foundation is def the most important first step. Think of the hassle of fixing this stuff afterwards!
I did notice this, particularly for Alen. Same pose, always.
For Jymsar though, I actually thought his sprites' lack of change in posture was actually kind of fitting - for somebody who is (at first) tightly wound, you might expect this kind of posture. So, personally, I wouldn't scrap Jymsar's early sprites -- I'd actually love it if when Jymsar opens up more, his new sprites would become more apparent with more relaxed and varying postures, but his older ones remaining for early in the story.
I think one thing to be careful of is not to go overboard. I'm worried about seeing characters doing awkward little dances when they cycle their emotions.
Yeah, just take your time. We can wait if you feel it's not ready :)
It`s better to finish their sprites at the beginning of the project. Less headache for you in the future. Take all the time you need, we can wait.
Fully agreed
